My Sermon for Camp

tomorrow I will be leaving for a camp call JIM club (Jesus is Mine).  it is an amazing camp, I'll tell you more when I get back home (this post being kind of last minute), but they want you to come with a chapter of the bible memorized and a short sermon memorized.  I memorized Ephesians 6 and instead of choosing from a list of short sermons I wrote my own, you can see that below.  I just made this post to show you my sermon before I leave so here it is!

Hello everyone.   I have a question, are you a Christian?    Most people I have met would say yes to this question, BUT how many are lying or just think they are a Christian but aren’t not?

For those of you who think you are Christians because you read the bible, well if you read the bible so much show where it says you get salvation that way.

I know that John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Later in John 3 it says He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

But nowhere does it say anything about being saved by just reading the bible.  So if you believe that you’re getting to heaven by reading the bible you’re in trouble.      

But I want to be clear; I’m not saying you shouldn’t read the bible.  

Psalm 1 says that we should take delight in God’s word.

so you should read the bible, but it just doesn’t  give us salvation.

For those who think they are getting to heaven because they are good,

Romans 3:23 says:

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

It doesn’t get much plainer

For those of you who think they are going to heaven because they pray, go to church, or do good works, well this really falls into the category of those that think they get to heaven because they're good.  If you think about it, it’s just doing good deed therefor trying to get to heaven by being good.

Isaiah 64:6 says:

But we are all like an unclean thing,

And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;

but Hebrews 10:24-25 says:

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together

And 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says:

Pray without ceasing.

So it is good to go to church, pray, and do good works but, it just doesn’t give us salvation.

For those of you who in your minds are saying “well I’m going to heaven because my god wouldn’t create Hell”   well you’re half wrong because you’re not going to heaven for that reason, and you’re half right because he wouldn’t “your god” doesn’t exist.

The real God would and did make Hell.  He did this because he can’t let sin or sinful people go to heaven so there needed to be somewhere else to go, and that somewhere else is Hell.

Psalm 9:17 says

The wicked shall be turned into Hell, And all the nations that forget God.

For those who think they're going to Heaven because they believe that Jesus died on the cross, well this is an important part of salvation but there’s more to it.

The demons believe.

James 2:19 “You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! “

I could go on and on with different examples of ways people think they get to heaven but that would make a very long sermon, so let’s get to the point I was trying to make.  If you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead, AND declare him as your lord you will be saved.

There is no other way explained in the whole bible.

Romans 10:9 says “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  The word that is translated “confess” means to declare with the conviction of a covenant.

So are you a Christian? Is Jesus your Lord? Do you believe in His resurrection? Unless you answered yes to the last two questions, you cannot truthfully answer yes to the first one.

II Corinthians 13:5 says “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.”

So what does it mean to be disqualified? Here is what the Apostle John wrote in I John 3:10 “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.”

Have you declared Jesus as your Lord and believe in His resurrection? If so, it will show by your practicing righteousness and loving your brother. If that describes you, then you can say “YES, I am a Christian!”

Ministry Expanding

Great news, my ministry is expanding  as you may have guessed from the tittle.   I play a game called roblox some of you might play it, well I will soon make a group on it called Jesus freaks on it.   I'm already in a christian group currently called The christian church of robloxia  and I'm going to use some of the material from this blog.

I'ts not my problem

well the other day I was watching a TV show called What Would You Do?.
    it's a show where they set up different scenarios and see what the reaction or different people is.
  so they did this in Salt Lake City Utah in a ski shop a few miles away from the best slopes.
  The first the actress is this tomboy and she just keeps stuffing stuff in here bag and everybody in the store reports her to the manager (who is actor) then they find out that there on a TV show.


   Then the next actors is one of the top runner-ups in miss Utah.  


So the first guy who notices starts out by just following the shop lifter and looking at her.  next he suggests items to lift! and then he gets ask by the manager about the fake lifter and says lies and says she was not lifting.
well everyone else report her to the manager.  so when the first guy knows that he's was on a TV show he get's ask a few questions.


Q 1: did you not report her because she was beautiful?
A 1: no, not at all.   I don't believe that at all.
now the next question is what made me wan't post this on my blog.
Q 2: why didn't you report her?
A 2: I't not my problem.


well that reminds me of a tract and a video.

it's like the guy painting the lines has get's out of the truck and look at the possum and say it's not his problem and keeps painting the lines.


 now you might like to hang out with people and talk to them and think hard to find out when to meet.  and like that guy painting the lines he from logic can think I should probably pick that up. and when your hanging out with other people and you might think that you should probably share the gospel with them and get scared (or if your looking down at a possum disgusted) who might think of a excuse like it's not my problem.  well I don't care if your scared make it your problem and share the gospel with them!  everybody get's scared sometimes.

I Can't Handle It!

I Can’t Handle it! I Can’t Take Anymore!  These are thoughts that have entered my mind many times, particularly over the past 6 years.  Our family has had a really long hard six years.  We have learned a lot and learned what is really important in life. We’ve learned to rely on Jesus Christ alone, but that does not make the hard times any easier. Despite how I have seen the Lord’s faithfulness over and over again, I still worry and fear.  Many, many times I have thought I could not handle what God had dished out to us. And you know what?  I was right!

There are people who say, sometimes even that the Bible says, that God will not give us more than we can handle.  Can you find where the Bible says that?  I can’t.  I do find this verse in 1 Cor. 10:13  No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.  But absolutely nowhere in that verse does it say that He will not give us more that we can handle. 

You see I believe God purposely will give us more that we can handle. I know he has given me more than I can handle on more than one occasion. Sometimes he has even metaphorically knocked my feet out from under me. You see it is at this point, the point of total utter desperation, when I cry out “God I can’t Handle this!” that He replies, “I know you can’t, but I can”. 

It is the same principle that we see in the Footprints in the Sand Story.  In the worst times of our life, there is only one set of Footprints, not because the Lord has abandoned us, but because it is then that He is carrying us.

In 2 Cor 12:9-10 the Lord tells us, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” And the Paul says, “Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

When I am weak, I am strong but only in His strength.  My own strength is feeble at best. His strength is stronger than I can imagine.

well I have been playing a MMOG (a massively multi-player online game) that has a chat and i like to use the chat to tell others about Jesus.  I get made fun of alot on it get cussed at sometimes and I was talking to this one guy who is already a christian and he didn't tell me till later via the MMOG email. and and it was encouragement that was needed just then. here is what it said.

I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and was merely commenting that you did not know that.

sorry I haven't been posting!

sorry I have not been posting. it had just worn me out posting every day for as long as I was. Well I'm back doing it again! But I'l be gone on the 20th and because i'm going to KAA (a camp) at Branson Missouri, for a week so i'll be going to  the BEACH (this is what People call the location of where my kids church takes place it's not really a beach) on the 19th spend the night there get on the bus at 3:00 am and i'll probably be posting again on the 28th. that's all! bye. see ya! I have arrived

Back in the day I was a lunch line rapper, after that I guess I was a punch line rapper, then I got saved and sometime after, ya boy came back as a frontline rapper, and when I say the frontlines, that's not a frontline, Im out here preachin Christ on the frontlines, and no it ain't about rockin' stages coz some of my engagements are out on the pavements yeah.
I'm out to take the bible, create disciples, who make disciples, disciple-cycles, that's why I want the beats to knock so after the music stops you can meet the rock i pray, that you would know him well, this is like show and tell, it's more than a show, I'm showing you Emmanuel,
So yeah Im hopin that you're likin' the flow but it's only so you could know that God Im writing it for let's go...

I recorded a couple songs some fast some slow, so the listeners would know the importance of the show, the importance of the show's not to excite these folks but make God's truth relevant, ignite these folks.
Discipleship is our call but we make disciples, this is not a suggestion, create disciples. The teachin' is a process, it's not over night and its not a stage and a mic nah, it's life on life Christ -
Walked with twelve, ate with twelve, talked with twelve, shaped the twelve, invested in 'em well you could say that he made the twelve. Who made many more, who made plenty more, now it's on you and me if there's anymore.
1 teach, 2 teach, 3 teach, 4 teach, 5 teach, 6 teach, 7 teach more, this is what we've been commissioned, it's the reason why I write, so that you could hear the truth, not so you can say Im tight whoa...

So, we write this for the right the speaker was righteous, and then we might check for a culture who likes the hypeness. Some say we keep it crunk, some say we hype man; we just wanna pump the resurrection of the Christ man.
We in the -burbs and the hoods that's hostile, we share a common view like synoptic Gospels and you know we keep a couple young dudes around us and teach 'em the same truth God used to ground us.
This is a lifestyle so, when the mic's down I pray people follow Christ when they turn the lights down. I pray that everybody playin this song will be challenged by everything I had to say in this song.
I dont do this for the money, I dont do this for fame, I dont do this so the industry can know my name, I do this and host to glorify Yeshua the King, if youre feelin me you know you should be doin the same lets go
